Looking for a volunteer opportunity that is fun and rewarding? Join our Volunteer team! As a Meals on Wheels Volunteer, you will belong to a team committed to helping homebound seniors maintain their health and independence with nutritious food, personal contact, and caring service.

Driver: We are seeking a dedicated volunteer to deliver meals on Monday mornings. Volunteers will pick up meals at our SeaTac location at 10:15 am, with deliveries typically taking 1.5 to 2 hours. Mileage incurred during deliveries is reimbursable. We are looking for volunteers who can commit long-term to support our delivery service. If you’re reliable, enjoy helping others, and have a vehicle, we’d love to have you join our team!

Join our Volunteer team to help Meals on Wheels in King County fight hunger! As a Meals on Wheels Volunteer, you will belong to a team committed to helping homebound seniors maintain their health and independence with nutritious food, personal contact, and caring service.

Co-Coordinator/Caller; We are seeking two dedicated Co-Coordinators/Callers to assist with essential administrative tasks. Responsibilities include calling participants for their weekly order, checking messages, printing paperwork for the week, scheduling backup volunteers as needed, and general office duties. This is a weekly commitment on Monday mornings from 9 am to 12:30 pm. We are looking for volunteers who can commit long-term to support our team and mission. If you’re organized, reliable, and interested in making a difference, we’d love to hear from you!

Drivers typically arrive at the Center at 10 am, load up the meals, and are done with their route in 1 to 2 hours. We are looking for weekly volunteers as well as volunteers to be a back-up to fill in as needed.

Qualities sought in Meals on Wheels volunteers: Commitment to the well-being of elders, good communication skills, reliability, and good cheer.

Requirements: Complete the Meals on Wheels Volunteer Application, consent to a Washington State Patrol background check, the ability to lift 15 pounds and navigate stairs, and be age 18 or more.

Join our Volunteer team to help Meals on Wheels in King County fight hunger and isolation! As a Meals on Wheels Volunteer, you will belong to a team committed to helping homebound seniors maintain their health and independence with nutritious food, personal contact, and caring service.

Caller: Help alleviate social isolation for seniors in your community. Make friendly phone calls to collect Meals on Wheels orders in Federal Way.  A volunteer is needed to call participants for their orders Thursday mornings, 8:30 am – 10:30 am, as needed. Training is provided. We are looking for volunteers who are interested in volunteering long term.

Qualities sought in Meals on Wheels volunteers: Good communication and people skills, reliable, and a commitment to the well-being of homebound elders.

Requirements: Complete the Meals on Wheels Volunteer Application, consent to a Washington State Patrol background check, Washington State drivers license or ID.
