TITLE:  Community Dining: Rainier Beach and Yesler Community Center – Volunteer Food Service help needed! 

LOCATION:  Tilth farm at Rainier Beach, 5513 S Cloverdale St; and Yesler Community Center, 917 E Yesler Way.

DESCRIPTION:   These locations serve a culturally relevant ethnic lunch to the East African senior community. Amharic and Tigrinya are spoken here, but fluency is not a requirement for volunteering.

CURRENT POSITION OPEN: Dishwasher, Clean up  

DURATION:  Ongoing 

GROUP OR INDIVIDUAL:  Individual 

REQUIREMENTS:  Minimum 18 years old.  Food Worker Card required  

QUALIFICATIONS:  No experience required. Looking for people who are reliable and friendly. 

BENEFITS: a free hot lunch on the day you volunteer.

SUMMARY:  Assist with providing hot, home-made lunches to the Central area seniors.  Food Prep and Servers needed. 

REQUIREMENTS:  Minimum 18 years old.  Food Worker Card required (approx 2 hr online course). 

QUALIFICATIONS:  Looking for people who are reliable, friendly, and interested in making people feel welcome.   No experience required, but if you do have any experience working in a kitchen preparing meals for a group, we’d love to have you apply!

LOCATION:  2 locations:  Yesler Community Center, 917 E Yesler Way, Seattle   and   Rainier Beach Urban Farm & Wetlands / Tilth Farm, 5513 S Cloverdale St., Seattle.

        YESLER:    Mondays and Thursdays,   9am – 1pm  

        RAINIER:  Wednesdays and Fridays,  9am – 1pm 

        Choose any day(s).
