Summary: We are actively seeking volunteers to assist us at our Inspire Positive Aging Awards Luncheon celebration.  It showcase and honors the contributions of older adults throughout King County

Description: Join our Event Volunteer Team!  Set-up crew will assist the Resource Development Department in transforming the ballroom and registration area into a celebratory space.  This entails, ensuring the ballroom tables are properly dressed with centerpieces, table tents, programs, and favors.  In addition, you will assist with setting up the photo booth, raffle ticket, and nomination lane areas.  Lastly, you will help ensure all event and directional signage is in place prior to the start of the event.

Requirements: Should be able to lift and carry 5-15lbs., comfortable with multi-tasking, and moving in many different directions. Dress code is casual.  If you plan to stay for the luncheon, please bring a change of clothes or dress business casual

Description: Join our Event Volunteer Team!  Raffle Ticket sellers will mingle with guest during the registration and networking hour to encourage patrons to buy raffle tickets.  Ticket sales will resume during the intermission at kiosk area of registration lobby.

Requirements: Should be personable and comfortable with walking and standing for prolonged periods of time (30-60 min.) Need to be enthusiastic and open to walking around and conversing with guest to garner ticket sales. Dress code is business casual.

Summary: We are actively seeking volunteers to assist the Fundraising team with various administrative tasks.

Description: Join our Fundraising Team!  As a Resource Development volunteer you will assist the team in meeting various information dissemination deadlines to help the organization raise its visibility in the greater community while garnering various forms of support, new partnerships, and engagement at events.

Tasks may include: assembling mailings, data entry and analysis, special projects, donor prospecting, copying tasks, and donor acknowledgement

Requirements: Should be detail-oriented, familiar with Microsoft Suite, okay with repetitive motion activities, for data entry be able to type 40wpm, and surfing the internet for donor prospecting

Description: Join our Event Volunteer Team!  Greeters will welcome guests, direct them to registration, and assist with line/traffic control at registration and various entrances.  You are the first point of contact for our guests and may be asked a variety of questions like, “Where is the nearest restroom?”

We are actively seeking individuals to serve with our program who believe in our mission: providing a safe place for aging adults to come eat nutritious food and build relationships.

Requirements: Should be personable and comfortable with standing for prolonged periods of time (avg of 60 min.) Dress code is business casual.
